This Apt is a must, I am taking Italian lessons and it has helped me so much. This apt even has a live word pronunciation , its fantastic.

This Italian English dictionary - so easy to use - makes Italy study and travel absolutely rewarding. In Italy, in particular, theres nothing like making an effort to speak the language to create great experiences. And Italians will jump in and correct you too! Get this App!

Ive been using this Italian-English dictionary and the companion Spanish, French and German dictionaries for over three years and each version just gets better and better. They are wonderful for travel or general reference. The special features, including verb conjugation tables, audio pronunciation of words and the option to search online for definitions not in the app make this an extremely versatile and useful reference tool. Id recommend it and its companion dictionaries to anyone looking for language apps for their iPad or iPhone.

Great app with so many amazing features- phrase book, audio, quizzes on top of a very useful dictionary!

I just paid $14.99 to upgrade, as the vocabulary was too limited and immediately a pop up appeared asking me to pay another $8.00 to upgrade again. (Annoying.) And Ive just tried looking up several words very few of them are in the extended version I forked out for. Now I have to buy the Oxford Paravia one. Unless youre an absolute beginner, this one isnt much use.

all those involved in the development and updates. Extremely great when used in conjunction with iPad! Could,be rated 5 stars if it had had "favourites" function to record the words that I want to come back from time to time during my learning Italian. The dictionary would be greater if it has more idiomatic entries and example sentences. I dot think "phrases" are needed.

It does what it is supposed to. No frills. I wish all the verb conjugations had audio too. But it does as it should. Ciao.

The only extra that I need are word cards for everyday learning.

Quick and rich enough for my daily use in reading/speaking english

As one other reviewer commented, its nice that this app allows one to enter related forms (participles, etc.), but I find the vocabulary limited for more advanced use. My Italian comprehension is largely constrained by my limited vocabulary, not by grammar, and I am often frustrated by this dictionarys own limited vocabulary.

I have bought multiple versions of your app in a variety of languages that I study. I LOVE it! I have tried many apps — but I LOVE the consistent format you bring to these apps in the various languages. The BEST part — it is all beautifully linked. You type in the word you are looking for, and the app automatically finds definitions in whatever language you typed (without having to change the language, as most other apps require). Also, the VERB conjugations are wonderful! You look up a verb — click on "conjugate" in the upper right — and you instantly have access to ALL conjugations in all tenses of that verb. NO other app I have tried comes close to convenience for rapidity of verb conjugations (and I have tried MANY other apps). This dictionary is not as good for longer translations (I use another app for that ... ) — but for everything else, it is the best iphone/ipad app I have found for very fast and accurate translations and verb conjugation review. Thank you! NOTE #1 — The non-paid versions are inferior. But the adds go away and the dictionary greatly expands if you get the paid apps (well worth the money!). NOTE #2 — Someone mentioned they had trouble hearing the words. I did to until I shut off "Go on-line for better quality" — after which I heard the voices well. The "slow" speed is still a bit fast, but understandable.

Excellent dictionary app!

Not bad but disappointing for the price. Pronunciation failed after one word was given. Thats a real issue. Few example sentences, sparse definitions. What I would expect for a free app or something much cheaper.

Love this app. It makes it possible for me to communicate with my relatives in Italy. The translation of idioms is wonderful. You have even responded to requests that I have made in previous reviews. Keep up the good work!!

It has been very useful in the incontro group I go to. I find it very helpful for my pronunciation.
